Meet the Team

Stephanie is our newest Director of Sales to join the Mid-America team. She has 21 years of experience in the travel industry working for both Tour Operators and hotels. Stephanie brings with her the experience that allows her to relate well with our industry partners. Stephanie is located in Michigan.

Shaun has been with AIG Travel since 2007. While working in Operations and our Medical Assistance Department, he had the opportunity to assist our Travel Guard customers with their medical emergencies. Now, as a member of our Mid-America Sales team, he looks forward to using his experience working in our operations and medical assistance department, along with his love of travel, to assist his agency partners. He is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Kelly joined the company in 2012. Previously she worked as a district manager for an all-inclusive resort. Kelly also has worked as a destination manager for a tour operator and was based out of the Caribbean for 12 years. She is a seasoned advocate for travel insurance, as she has seen firsthand how client situations can quickly escalate to the need for insurance. Kelly is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Roy joined the company in 1990. In 2010, he joined the Retail Sales team. Roy moved to the United States in 1989 from England after spending fifteen years in the travel industry there, and he brings with him a wealth of travel experience along with solid insurance product knowledge. Roy is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Since joining AIG Travel in 1993, Bruce has maintained and continues to strive for new business opportunities to add to our client list. He consistently drives revenue growth, while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. Prior to joining AIG Travel, Bruce worked aboard expedition cruise ships and as manager of Land Arrangements for the QE2 at Cunard. Bruce is located in Connecticut.

Cody joined the company in 2012 as a team member in the Canada World Service Center. He brings an extensive history of providing exceptional customer service to travel agents and customers in Canada and the United States. In his previous role, he assisted agents with pre- and post-sale inquiries; additionally, his customer-centric focus and passion for sales also brought on leadership opportunities. Cody is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Tonie started with AIG Travel in 2013 as an emergency travel coordinator; she then worked as an underwriting assistant before becoming a member of the Field Sales Team. Tonie brings a variety of travel experience to the table and has a rich history of providing exceptional customer service to our clients. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Jodi joined the company in early 2017 and brings with her an enthusiasm to work with our travel partners to foster and grow their businesses and Travel Guard sales. Jodi attended Michigan State University and began her travel career at a local travel agency. Over the next several years she continued to work in the travel industry with Club Med, Windstar Sail Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Star Clippers. Jodi is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Lee joined Travel Guard originally in 2008, and worked in various sales divisions, gaining a broad view of the travel insurance industry. She currently supports our Pacific West agency partnerships by providing knowledgeable consultative support, training and service. Lee is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Tina has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and travel industries to help agency partners maximize their insurance sales. Joining Travel Guard in 1993, Tina has worked in our Business Client Services and Property Management divisions. This experience allows her to relate well to our industry partners. Tina is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Suzanne has been with Travel Guard since 2005, and having worked closely with a variety of business units across the company, offers our agent partners a range of diverse travel insurance experiences. Travel professionals trust Suzanne for her outstanding service and a focus on growing agency partnerships, you can find Suzanne ready and available with all the answers you need to make travel insurance easy. Prior to joining Travel Guard, she earned a degree in International Studies and has worked for SBC Global, Inc. and Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, Suzanne enjoys spending time in the north woods of Wisconsin. Suzanne is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Kurt joined AIG Travel in 2007, specializing in working with travel agencies, property management companies in the vacation rental space, online travel agencies, tour operators, resorts and loyalty travel. Prior to joining AIG Travel, Kurt owned and operated a property management company. Kurt is located in Asheville, NC.

Jerry brings 20 years of experience in the insurance and travel industries to help agency partners maximize their insurance sales. Before joining Travel Guard in 2003, Jerry was a successful travel agent, an experience that allows him to relate well to our industry partners. Jerry is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Denise started her career as a travel agent in New York. Over the next 20+ years she developed an extensive network and travel industry experience as a BDM for a major airline, an all-inclusive chain of resorts in the Caribbean, an Italian cruise line and more! Most recently she was a Foundation coach for a home-based travel agent franchise travel company. Denise is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Jim joined the company in 2005. Jim’s background includes extensive travel industry experience, including National Sales Director for Universal Studios; Vice President/General Manager for Universal Studios Vacations; and the Director of Leisure Sales & Marketing for US Airways. Jim has a BBA from the University of Georgia and has earned his CTC designation. Jim is located in Arlington, VA.

With more than 20 years of sales and sales management experience, Janet Janssen joined AIG Travel in 2006 as a Home Office Sales Manager. She then moved into Property Management where she has spent the past 13 years working with our sales team and clients across the United States. Prior to joining Travel Guard, Janet worked in sales and sales management outside the travel industry.  Janet is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.

Lorne has been with the company since 2008. He began in the Licensing department before becoming a member of the Retail Sales team. Lorne enjoys spending time with his family along with many other activities. He values the travel agents he works hand-in-hand with and is dedicated to building their business. Lorne is located at our Stevens Point, WI office.
